Explosion Productions - is an indie production company and based in Santa Cruz, helping bands integrate into the Cali music scene, and founded by Jesse West and Chris Coffman in 2004. Since then we have organized many concerts, quite a few large events, and one tour. Our goal is to make it easier for Califonia based bands to make a name for themselves in and outside of the Bay Area, by organizing concerts and promoting them. Here are some of the bands we have been working with: North Swell (CA), Josh Fox (CA), Hope & Aria (OR), Jonathan Stowers (CA), Jesse West (CA), Synonyms For Silence (CA), Matt Masih and the Messengers (CA), Kokua (CA), and Saltwater Merchants (CA) to name a few. In the future the plan is to expand to more cities across the United States with more bands and venues, so stay tuned for news mentioned on the homepage.

EP currently has a collective group of artists who are hitting the scene hard and representing things that actually matter. EP promotes bands that have something IMPORTANT to say, and have a passion for people. EP has to date raised several thousand dollars for Invisible Children and roughly $2500 for World Vision, and we are fully behind the mission to support these incredible movements. These organizations are all one in the same, at the heart of it they are spreading the belief that love and compassion above all else will rise above depravity.

Explosion Productions is also hard at work in and around the local community. There is a lot of need within our hometown of Santa Cruz, and EP is taking the time to recognize and promote ways to make a positive difference! Non-profits such as Santa Cruz Cancer Society, The Elm Street Rescue Mission, and the Teen Rehab Center are just a few of the local organizations we support. EP organizes events, concerts, and festivals to raise funds, awareness, and to give back and help where we can!
